Your vehicle has recently had an alternative fuel system retrofit and needs CARBTest's verification of the fuel system retrofit for compliance with the Clean Truck Check program. "Alternative fuel retrofit system" or "retrofit system" is a package of fuel storage and delivery, ignition, emission control, on board diagnostic, and engine components that are modified, removed, or added during the process of modifying a motor vehicle or engine to operate on an alternative fuel.
Motorhome Conversion Verification

Your vehicle has been recently converted to a motor home and needs the CARBTest's verification of the conversion for compliance with the California Clean Truck Check program. "Motor home" means a vehicle that is designed exclusively for human habitat for recreational or emergency occupancy.

Parts Unavailability Compliance Time Extension

Vehicle Owners who are unable to repair or replace part(s) needed to bring a vehicle into compliance to complete the Clean Truck Check Test Requirement, may be granted an extension of the vehicl's periodic emissions compliance testing deadline. The extension will allow the vehicle to operate until its next emissions testing deadline. Vehicle owners may purchase new or used parts, except for emissions components prohibited by CARB or the State of California. Emissions components not approved by CARB are illegal to operate in the State of California.

Test Result Dispute

The vehicle owner disputes an inspection result and requests an independent evaluation of a vehicle's compliance status. The referee will conduct a suite of Visual, Smoke Opacity and OBD download to verify compliance status of the vehicle.
